Why do the color or brightness of the image change, or why do I see horizontal bars in the image on my Panasonic HC-V270?
    • C
      Christopher LaneSep 15, 2025
Color or brightness of the image may change, or you may see horizontal bars in the image when the object is recorded under fluorescent light, mercury light or sodium light, etc., but this is not a malfunction. In Motion Picture Recording Mode, record in Intelligent Auto Mode/Intelligent Auto Plus Mode or set the shutter speed to 1/60 in areas where the power supply frequency is 60 Hz, or 1/100 in areas of 50 Hz. In Still Picture Recording Mode, this will not affect the recorded image.

How to fix Panasonic HC-V270 Camcorder that won't turn on or has short battery life?
    • D
      Dana AndersonAug 25, 2025
If your Panasonic Camcorder won't turn on, stay on, or the battery drains quickly, try fully charging the battery. Keep in mind that batteries discharge faster in cold environments. Also, batteries have a limited lifespan, so if a fully charged battery still doesn't last, it likely needs replacing.

What to do if Panasonic HC-V270 is on but not working?
    • P
      Philip HowardAug 26, 2025
If your Panasonic Camcorder is on but not working correctly, remove the battery or AC adapter, wait about a minute, and then reconnect it. Wait another minute before turning the camcorder back on. Note that doing this while the device is accessing media could corrupt the data. If this doesn't restore normal operation, disconnect the power and consult the dealer from whom you purchased the unit.

What to do if my Panasonic Camcorder displays 'ERROR OCCURRED'?
    • L

If the unit isn't turned off and on, it will turn off automatically in about 1 minute. If the error message repeatedly appears after restarting, detach the power connected, and consult the dealer where you purchased the unit. Do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
