9.1 Availability of the network feature
Important:
R The network feature (LAN or wireless LAN) may not be available for your unit. See "y List of available
features and equipment" on page 3 whether your unit has the feature.
9.2 Programming features: LAN

automatically using a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)

IP address #501 To set the IP address for the LAN connection. This feature is available
when feature #500 is deactivated.
Subnet mask #502 To set the Subnet mask for the LAN connection. This feature is
available when feature #500 is deactivated.
Default gateway #503 To set the default gateway for the LAN connection. This feature is
available when feature #500 is deactivated.
DNS server #1 #504 To set the primary DNS server for the LAN connection. This feature
is available when feature #500 is deactivated.
DNS server #2 #505 To set the secondary DNS server for the LAN connection. This feature
is available when feature #500 is deactivated.
Machine name #507 To set the machine name.
Enter the name of the unit to recognize on the LAN, up to 15
characters, using the English alphabet and numbers.
R The first and last letter must be an English alphabet or numbers.
R Hyphen can also be entered using M1N.
Note:
R In order to recognize the unit on the LAN, the default name of the
unit is assigned automatically. If you change the name, assign a
unique name to avoid overlapping.
MAC address #508 To display the MAC address of the unit.
Bonjour #513 To set the Bonjour feature. M1N
Network status #526 To view the network status. See page 91 for details.
IP filtering #532 When this feature is activated, the unit will deny/approve access from
the pre-programmed IP patterns. You can program whether to deny
or approve IP addresses. Up to 4 patterns each for IPv4 and IPv6 can
be programmed through the web browser interface (page 93).

Auto IP #533 To set the IP address automatically for the LAN connection. This
feature is available when feature #500 is activated. When this feature
is activated, IP address will be allocated automatically without using
a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server.

HTTPD #534 To set HTTPD for the LAN connection. When this feature is activated,
you can access to the web server.
