• Confirm the base unit’s AC adaptor is connected to the unit
and the power outlet correctly.
• The handset has lost communication with the base unit. Move
closer to the base unit and try again.
• Unplug the base unit’s AC adaptor to reset the unit.
Reconnect the adaptor and try again.
• The handset’s registration may have been cancelled.
Re-register the handset
(page 31).
Memory F u ll
• The phonebook memory is full. Erase unwanted entries
(page 19).
• The call block list memory is full. Erase unwanted entries
(page 18).
Wrong B a tt.
(B a tt.: battery)
• A wrong type of battery such as alkaline or manganese was
inserted. Use only the rechargeable Ni-MH batteries noted on
page 3, 7.
Troubleshooting
If you still have difficulties after following the instructions in this section, disconnect the base unit’s
AC adaptor and turn off the handset, then reconnect the base unit’s AC adaptor and turn on the
handset.
General use
