∫ Operations during HDMI output
[3]/[4]/[2]/[1], [ ], [ ], and [ ] are displayed on the LCD display of this unit
during HDMI output.

Operate in accordance with the guide displayed on the TV.
• Playback Mode selection screen is displayed on the TV by touching [ ].
• Operations using the [MODE] and [MENU] buttons are disabled during HDMI output.
Preparations: Check the [HDMI MODE]. (P30)
Turn this unit and the TV off.
1 HDMI socket

A Align the marks, and insert.
B HDMI mini cable (optional)

Check the direction of the terminals and plug in/out straight holding onto the plug. (It may result
in malfunction by the deforming of the terminal if it is plugged in obliquely or in wrong direction.)
Connect the HDMI mini cable B (optional) to the HDMI input socket
on the TV.
Connect the HDMI mini cable to the [HDMI] socket on the camera.
Turn the TV on and switch to HDMI input.
Turn the camera on, and slide the [REC]/[PLAYBACK] selector switch
to [(].
• When [VIERA Link] (P31) is set to [ON] and the camera is connected to a TV supporting
VIERA Link, input of the TV will be switched automatically and the playback screen will
be displayed (P165).
