BASIC PARAMETERS
When the O
2
density level remains unchanged even though the N
2
/O
2
gas valve in the unit is opened, the
unit regards the present connecting N
2
gas (O
2
gas) cylinder as an empty. The N
2
/O
2
gas supply line is
changed over automatically. Table. 2 shows the behavior when N
2
gas cylinders A and B are connected.
1. When N
2
gas is remaining in N
2
gas cylinder A, the unit operates with N
2
gas supplied from N
2
gas
cylinder A (Situation 1 on table 2).
2. When N
2
gas cylinder A is empty, the level of O
2
density in the unit is on the increase because N
2
gas is
not supplied into the unit even though N
2
/O
2
gas valve in the unit is open (Situation 2 on table 2).
3. When the Situation 2 continues for 2 to 3 minutes, N
2
/O
2
gas supply line is changed over automatically
by regarding N
2
gas cylinder as an empty. At this time, N
2
/O
2
gas cylinder empty alarm is activated, the
buzzer sounds, and N
2
/O
2
gas supply indicator A is displayed in reverse video and blinks (Situation 3 on
table 2).
4. N
2
/O
2
gas cylinder empty alarm is released by pressing Buzzer key. The reverse video is put the light off
(Situation 4 on table 2).
5. Exchange the empty N
2
gas cylinder A into a new one immediately after the Situation 4 (Situation 5 on
table 2).
6. When N
2
gas cylinder B is empty, it changes into N
2
gas cylinder A.

・When the Buzzer key is not pressed in the Situation 4 and the N
2
gas cylinder B gets empty without the
N
2
gas cylinder A being replaced in the Situation 5, the operation of switch between N
2
/O
2
gas supply line A
and B will be repeated. In this case, replace the both N
2
gas cylinders A and B, and press the Buzzer key
immediately.
・The changeover of N
2
gas (O
2
gas) cylinder is judged by an increaes of O
2
density in the chamber. In
case that the gas tube is clogged, the gas is leaking, the gass pressure is dropped down, or the level of
valve open for N
2
gas (O
2
gas) cylinder is not enough, etc, the changeover of N
2
gas (O
2
gas) cylinder may
be done even though the N
2
gas (O
2
gas) cylinder being used is not empty.
