This feature operates as a KITCHEN TIMER or allows you to program the STANDING TIME/DELAY
S TA RT.
To use as a KITCHEN TIMER:
• Press once.
Display is blank.
• Set desired time.
Maximum time is 99 minutes
and 50 seconds.
• Press .
The time in the display
will count down without
operating oven.
To set STANDING TIME:
e.g. To stand for 5 minutes after cooking for 3 minutes at MEDIUM
• Press 3 times.
Set the desired cooking program.
(See page 14 for directions.)
• Press 3 times.
Set the desired cooking time.
• Press once.
• Press .
Cooking starts. After cooking,
standing time will count down
without operating oven.
• Press 5 times.
Set desired amount of standing time.
(Up to 99 minutes and 50 seconds.)
To set DELAY START:
e.g. To start cooking for 3 minutes at MEDIUM after 5 minutes of standing time

Notes:
1. If oven door is opened during the KITCHEN TIMER, STANDING TIME or DELAY START, the time in
the display window will continue to count down.
2. DELAY START/STANDING TIME cannot be programmed before/after any AUTO COOK and TURBO
DEFROST. This is to prevent the standing temperature of the food from rising before defrosting or
cooking begins. A change in the starting temperature could cause inaccurate results and/or food may
deteriorate.
3. MULTI-STAGE COOKING can be programmed including STANDING TIME/DELAY START. When
operating, two beeps will sound between each stage, and five beeps will sound after all stages have
finished.
