| Recording CDs |
Records a selected track from the CD and stops.
Preparations:
insert a CD (=> page 12) and a cassette (= page 15).
Wind the tape on to where you want to start recording.
1 Press [E TAPE/CD] to switch to CD mode.
2 Press [CD REC MODE] to display “1-REC”.
Each time you press the button:
ALL-REC —> 1-REC — OFF
ENO TE
3| Turn (TIME/PRESET TUNE «- CD SKIP ~a] to select
the track you want to record.
4! Press [9/11] to start recording.
CD play and recording start at the same time.
To stop recording
Press [E TAPE/CD]. The CD also stops.
To continue recording from another CD
1. Press [& CD] and replace the CD.
2. Do steps E] to EJ.
To record a track in piay
(1) Press [CD REC MODE] to display “1-REC”.
(2) Press [@/I5].
Recording starts from the beginning of the track and stops when the
track finishes.
Recording and CD will stop when the tape reaches its end, even if the
track has not finished.

Preparations:
¢ To record from the beginning of the tape:
Wind on the leader tape.
¢ To record from part way through the tape:
Wind the tape on to where you want to start recording.
Load a cassette with the side for recording facing
up.
2| Tune to the station (= page 10).
3 Press [@/11] to start recording.
To stop recording
Press [B TAPE/CD).
To pause recording
Press [@/ 14}.
Press again to resume recording.

tion)
Remote control only
Press [FM MODE/BP] while recording.
Each time you press the button:
bP1 & bP2
Choose the setting with the least noise.
