16.17.3. Removal of Mecha Unit then take
out Cassette Tape
1. Unplug the power outlet and remove the top panel and the
front panel.
2. Remove the VTR mechanism unit.
3. Remove the loading motor (remove a screw).
4. Rotate the main cam gear counterclockwise, and suspend
the unloading operation right before completion.
5. Rotate the capstan rotor clockwise in order to remove tape
slack. Rotate the main cam gear counterclockwise again
and remove the cassette tape.
6. Reassemble the loading motor and the mechanical unit to
the Main P.C.B. and securely fasten with the screws.
