Playback (Skip,
Manual Skip etc.)
Some operations may not work depending on the
media and contents.
• Discs continue to rotate while menus are displayed. Press
[∫] when you have finished playback to protect the unit’s
motor, your TV screen, etc.

For information about the intended uses of a
USB HDD (> 75)
Press [STATUS ].
• Each time you press [STATUS ], the display
information may change or disappear from the
screen.
e.g.,
Displayed when an HDR video signal is being
output.
Press [∫].
Resume play function
Press [1a1.3] to restart from the stopped
position.
• Discs: Only previous stopped position is memorised. The
position may be cleared if the tray is opened or the unit is
switched to standby.
Press [;].
•Press [1a1.3] to restart play.
Press and hold [1a1.3].
• Press again to return to normal speed.
• UHD programmes (4K), Ultra HD Blu-ray, MKV, MP4 and
MPEG2: Quick View may not be available.
Search:
While playing, press [6] or [5].
• UHD programmes (4K), Ultra HD Blu-ray, MKV, MP4 and
MPEG2: Audio is not heard during search.
Slow-motion:
While paused, press [6] or [5].
• [BD-V], AVCHD ([DVD-R]): Forward direction [5] only.
• MKV, MP4 and MPEG2: Slow-motion is not effective.
• The speed increases up to 5 steps.
• Press [1a1.3] to restart play.
While paused, press [2](2;) or [1](;1).
• Each press shows the next frame.
• Press and hold to change in succession forward
or backward.
• MKV, MP4 and MPEG2: Frame-by-frame is not effective.
• [BD-V], AVCHD ([DVD-R]): Forward direction [1](;1) only.
• Press [1a1.3] to restart play.
Press [:] or [9].
• Skip to the title, chapter or track.
• [HDD] [USB_HDD] (For recorded programmes):
It will not skip the programme. But the programme in the
grouped programmes will be skipped. (> 26)
Skip forward 1 minute:
Press [+60s].
Skip backward 10 seconds:
Press [-10s].
• Depending on the content that you play back, this function
is not available.
