Auto Setup (Satellite)
You can restart the Auto Setup. (> 9)
1 Select the Auto Setup method, then press
[OK].
• Search by selected satellite
• Search all satellites
All satellites and transponders are searched
for channels.
2 Select “Yes”, then press [OK].
• The timer recording programmes are cancelled.

Manual Tuning
You can add new channels manually.
1 Select the items and change the items.
2 Select “Start scan”, press [OK] to start
scan.
Update Channel List
You can update the channel list to the latest
one.
1 Select the method and settings.
Search Mode
• Free Channels
• All Channels
Scan Mode
•Quick
Scans the suitable frequency for the
selected satellite.
•Full
Scans the whole frequency range.
2 Press [OK].
The unit starts searching for newly
available satellite digital channels.
• If the channel you are looking for is not found, select
“Full” for “Scan Mode”. (> above)
Exchange Channel List
Exports/Imports DVB-S Channel List settings
using the USB device to share the same
settings with another Panasonic Recorder
which has the same function.
• Export Channel List/Import Channel List
You can export/import the channel list of this
unit to the USB device.
Signal Condition
You can check the quality and strength of
signals.
•Press [2, 1] to select the tuner.
•Press [CHWX] to select the channel.
• The channels you can receive are affected by weather
conditions, length of the cable that is connected to the
aerial, etc.
• When the signal is too strong (red bar), reduce the
signal amplification at your aerial.
• When the signal is weak:
– adjust the position and direction of the dish.
– check that the current digital broadcast channel is
correctly broadcasting.
Antenna System
You can receive several satellites if you have
DiSEqC control antenna system or single
cable router.
1 Select “Antenna System”.
2 Press [2, 1] to select antenna system.
• One LNB
Compatible with single LNB.
• MiniDiSEqC
Up to 2 LNBs can be controlled.
• DiSEqC1.0
Up to 4 LNBs can be controlled.
• Single Cable
Compatible with single cable router.
LNB Configuration
You can set LNB setting and User Band when
necessary.
• If you do not know the connected satellite,
select “No Satellite” in “Satellite”. (Available
satellite will be searched in Auto Setup.)
• If you select “User defined” in “Satellite”, set
“Test Transponder Frequency” manually.
