Install the spark plug and rmly tighten up with the
spark plug wrench.
If a torque wrench is available, torque the spark
plug to 148-165 inch-pounds. Reconnect the spark
plug lead.
Remove the spark plug using the spark plug
wrench. If the spark plug is fouled or is soaked with
fuel, clean or replace.
Clean excess fuel from the combustion chamber by
pulling the starter cord several times with the spark
plug removed.
Disconnect the spark plug lead carefully by pinching
the top and pulling away from the engine.

STOPPING THE ENGINE
• The exhaust gets extremely hot during use, hot surfaces will burn ngers or palms.
• When storing the Brush Cutter for long periods ensure all fuel is drained from the machine.
• Storing a machine with a hot exhaust near anything ammable is extremely dangerous!
WARNING!
• LET THE ENGINE COOL.
Allow the engine to cool by running it at idle for 2 or 3 minutes.
• TURN THE POWER OFF.
Press the ON/OFF switch into the 'OFF'(O) position. This will stop the
engine. The switch is spring loaded and will return to the default
'ON'(I) position.
• NEVER ATTEMPT TO REFUEL A HOT ENGINE!
Always allow the Brush Cutter engine to cool before refuelling!
• NEVER STORE A MACHINE WITH A HOT EXHAUST!
Always allow the exhaust to cool before storing and transporting.
Storing a machice with a hot exhaust near anything ammable is
extremely dangerous!
