      To check for a spark in your Parker Brush Cutter, disconnect the spark plug wire, reattach the spark plug wire and lay the spark plug on the metal cylinder. Pull the starter rope and watch for a spark at the spark plug tip. If there is no spark, repeat the test with a new spark plug. Also, push the primer bulb until it is full of fuel. If the bulb does not fill, the primary fuel delivery system may be blocked. If the primer bulb fills, the engine may be flooded. Remove the spark plug, turn the trimmer so the spark plug hole is aimed at the ground, move the choke lever to “RUN” and pull the starter cord 10 to 15 times to clear excess fuel from the engine.
