Remove the air lter cover. You will need to do this to gain
access to the throttle cable and idle adjustment screw
located on top of the carburettor.
Locate the air lter cover on the machine. It is attached
the carburettor with an allen head bolt. Use the allen key
provided in the tool kit to loosen the bolt.

Your throttle cable may become slack after prolonged use
and adjustment may be required.
To adjust the throttle cable loosen or tighten the nuts
highlighted above. Use the 10mm spanner provided in the
tool kit to do so. Always allow 1-2mm of play to ensure the
cable is not under load at all times.
When the engine tends to stop frequently at idling
mode, turn the idle speed adjuster screw clockwise.
The idle speed adjuster screw is highlighted above.
When the cutting head keeps rotating after releasing
the trigger, turn the idle speed adjuster counter
clockwise.

• Always reinstall the air lter after carrying out any maintenance.
• Be aware running the engine with no air lter can damage the engine.
