4) Remove gear housing (Fig. 4). If prying with
screwdriver is necessry, be careful not to damage
the machined surfaces.
Example of excessive cutout on a gear housing,
circled in yellow. (Fig. 5).
5) Mark bushing blocks top and bottom. Remove thrust
plate. (Fig. 6
). Examine and replace if necessary. See
wear guide page 18.
