Operating the Test Kit
5.1 Generating the Pressure
The fi rst pumping process may require more physical effort due to the forces of
adhesion.
Complete the fi rst pumping process with the pressure release valve open.
ATTENTION!
Risk of material damage to the test object due to excess pressure.
Never exceed the maximum permissible pressure of the test object!
Press the hand grips together carefully to generate a preliminary pressure
and slowly turn the fi ne adjustment valve clockwise to increase the pres-
sure!
The following methods of operation have proven successful in practice:
Single-handed operation Two-handed operation Non-slip base
Reliable and easily con-
trolled pressure generation
up to 20 bar.
Reliable and easily con-
trolled pressure generation
between 20 and 40 bar.
Increase the pressure
from 40 bar using the fi ne
adjustment valve.
Reliable and easily con-
trolled pressure generation
between 50 and 55 bar.
The bottom hand grip must
be positioned on a non-slip
base.
