Operating the Test Kit
1 Press the button on the ServiceJunior.
Ä The ServiceJunior is switched on. To complete further settings, refer to the Ser-
viceJunior operating manual. & "ServiceJunior operating manual"
2 Switch the test object on, if necessary.
3 Turn the pressure release valve clockwise as far as possible to close it.
4 Turn the switchover valve clockwise as far as possible to set the switchover valve
to "Pressure".
5 Press the hand grips together as often as necessary until the required test pres-
sure is almost set.
6 Turn the fine adjustment valve until the test pressure is set exactly.
Ä Turn clockwise: Increase the pressure.
Ä Turn counterclockwise: Decrease the pressure.
When depressurised, the fine adjustment valve can be adjusted easily.
► Turn the fine adjustment valve with the palm of your hand to in-
crease the pressure quickly.
Increasing Pressure with the Fine Adjustment Valve
Alternatively, you can turn the fine adjustment valve clockwise to increase the pressure from
20 bar.
Depending on the pressure of the test object and position of the fine adjustment valve,
pressure increases of up to 30 bar can be generated.
