6. Reinsert the spark plug (
47).
Transport
• When it is being transported, the device
must be switched off and the spark plug
connector (
2) removed. Do not trans-
port the device when it is idling.
• Carry the device with one hand on the
upper shaft tube and the other hand on
the lower shaft tube (
8+12) in order
to avoid coming into contact with dan-
gerous parts when transporting it (e.g.
hot engine, cutting unit).
• Use the blade guard (
31/32) when
transporting the blades.
• Maintain a safe distance from other
people when transporting the device.
• Do not transport the unit upside down,
as otherwise fuel might leak out.
• Before transporting between two loca-
tions, empty the fuel tank with a petrol
suction pump.
Do not empty the fuel tank indoors,
near re or when smoking. Gas va-
pours can cause explosions or re.
Transporting in a vehicle: Secure
the device against tipping over and
damage. Ensure the device is securely
positioned.
Disposal /
Environmental Protection
Do not allow used oil and petrol residues
into the sewer system or drains.
Dispose of used oil and petrol residues
in an environmentally friendly way – take
them to a disposal point.
Take the equipment, accessories and
packaging for environmentally friendly
recycling. Machinery does not belong in
domestic waste.
Drain the petrol tank carefully and take your
equipment to a recycling point. The plastic and
metal components used can be separated by
type and therefore recycled. We will dispose
of the defective equipment you send in, free of
charge. Ask your Service-Center about this.
