Calibration
NOTES:
o The thickness of the calibration plate[7] must be in the
range of 1.5mmto2.2mm.
o The initial display is 1.80mm. Press the TESTbutton[3]
to increase the reading on the display[2]. Press the
UNITbutton[4] to decrease the reading on the display.
o The reading should equal the thickness value of the
calibration plate. For example, if the thickness of the
calibration plate is 1.76mm, press the UNITbutton to
decrease the reading on the display to 1.76mm.
o The thickness of the calibration plate should be greater than
the layer thickness on coated panel.
1. Before a measurement in NFe or Fe test mode is made,
ensure that in this mode, the product has been calibrated
by using the naked substrate[8] of the object to be tested.
Alternatively a naked substrate can be used, if it is identical
to the substrate of the object to be tested.
