Why do consumables wear out so quickly on my Parkside PPS 40 A1 Welding System?

If the consumables on your Parkside Welding System are wearing out quickly, several factors could be at play. First, you may be overstretching the performance by using material that is too thick. To resolve this, increase the angle to prevent material from being blown back into the tip. Second, ensure you are not controlling the arc for more than 5 seconds. Third, check that the pistol is assembled correctly; you can start with contact between the pistol and metal or with a 3.2 mm distance to the metal. Fourth, verify that there is sufficient air supply and that the pressure is adequate by checking the air filter and increasing the air pressure. Finally, inspect the air compressor to ensure it is functioning correctly and that the inlet pressure is at least 100 PSI.
