3.3.1 Cleaning the fuel filter
1. Remove the nut holding the fuel filter assembly if equipped.
2. Unscrew the filter cup, catching any spilled fuel in a rag.

. Remove the filter element, and wash it in solvent. Allow it to dry. Inspect the filter element and O-ring
of the filter cup to make sure they are in good conditions. Change them if necessary. If any water is
found in the fuel, check and clean the portable fuel tanks should be checked and cleaned.
