PATRIOT LIGHTING® (Post Cap) WARRANTY
1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY:
This PATRIOT LIGHT® brand light fixture carries a one (1) Year Limited
Warranty to the original purchaser. If, during normal use, this PATRIOT
LIGHT® light fixture fails die to a defect in material and workmanship within
one (1) year from the date of purchase, simply bring this light fixture with your
original sales receipt back to your nearest MENARDS® retail store. At its
discretion, PATRIOT LIGHT® agrees to have the lighting fixture replaced
with the same or similar PATRIOT LIGHT® product free of charge, within
the stated warranty period, when returned by the original purchaser with
original sales receipt. Notwithstanding the foregoing, this limited warranty
does not cover damage or failure caused by misuse or abuse including but
not limited to improper installation, accident, unauthorized repair,
maintenance, or modifications of the merchandise. This warranty: (1)
excludes expendable parts including but not limited to light bulbs batteries;
(2) shall be void if this lighting fixture is not installed in the U.S.A.; (3) does
not cover products installed within three miles of saltwater coastline or any
area prone to salt spray; and (4) does not cover any losses, labor, injuries to
person/property or costs. This warranty does give you the specific legal
rights and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. Be
careful, the purchaser has sole responsibility for proper installation
compliance with all state and local code requirements. Seller's employees
are not qualified to advise you on the use of this Merchandise. Any oral
representation(s) made will not be binding on seller or its employees. The
rights under this limited warranty are to the original purchaser of the
Merchandise and may not be transferred to any subsequent owner. This
limited warranty is in lieu of all warranties, expressed or implied including
warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Seller shall
not be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages. The sole
exclusive remedy against the seller will be for the replacement of any defects
as provided herein, as long as the seller is willing or able to replace this
product or is willing to refund the purchase price as provided above.

IMPORTANT
 Fully charge the battery before first use. Charge under direct sunlight in
the off position for 2 days.
 For best results, locate your solar lamp in a position where it can get
direct sunlight on the solar panel and generally free from cover and
shade. (Figure 1).

streetlights.

The Raeford Solar Post Cap is a solar-powered lighting device intended to be mounted on posts or flat surfaces, providing illumination after dark. It utilizes a solar monocrystal panel to charge an internal battery during daylight hours, which then powers an LED light at night. Maintenance Features:

• Battery Replacement: For optimal performance, the rechargeable AA battery should be replaced every 12 months. The process involves removing the battery compartment cover, replacing the old battery with a new high-quality AA rechargeable battery, ensuring correct polarity, and reassembling the unit.
• Battery Type: Only rechargeable "AA" batteries should be used. It is important not to mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries (alkaline, standard, rechargeable).
• Battery Disposal: Rechargeable batteries contain Nickel-Cadmium or Nickel-Metal Hydride and must be recycled or disposed of properly. Do not dispose of batteries in fire, as they may explode or leak.
• Cleaning Solar Panels: The solar panels should be regularly cleaned with a soft, damp cloth or paper towel to remove dust, snow, and debris. This ensures optimum performance of the solar panel. Abrasive cleaning agents should be avoided, and excessive pressure should not be applied to the module during cleaning.
• Troubleshooting: If the light is not working, check the following:
  • Ensure no other light source is affecting the solar post cap.
  • Verify the solar post cap is not in the shade during the day.
  • Confirm the switch is in the "ON" position.
  • Check that the batteries are installed correctly.

Warranty Information:

The 1-Year Limited Warranty covers defects in material and workmanship under normal use. If the fixture fails within one year of purchase, the original purchaser can return it to a Menards® retail store with the original sales receipt for replacement with the same or a similar product, free of charge. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, abuse, improper installation, accident, unauthorized repair, maintenance, or modifications. It excludes expendable parts (like light bulbs and batteries), is void if the fixture is not installed in the U.S.A., does not cover products installed within three miles of saltwater coastline or areas prone to salt spray, and does not cover losses, labor, injuries, or costs. The purchaser is solely responsible for proper installation compliance with all state and local code requirements. The warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, and the seller is not liable for special, incidental, or consequential damages. The sole remedy is replacement or refund of the purchase price.
