FUNCTION: The built-in solar panel converts sunlight into electricity. The rechargeable battery stores the energy and converts
the power into light for use during the night. The lighting hours of the solar light depends on the geographical location and
weather condition. Stronger or longer exposure to sunlight enables the battery to store more energy and provide longer
lighting hours.
LOCATION: It is important to select an outdoor location with full, direct sunlight where the solar panel can receive at least 8
hours of sunlight each day. Shady areas will not enable batteries to be fully charged. This will reduce the lighting hours at
night. It is also important to avoid placing the solar light by light sources, such as street lights or porch lights, which may
cause the solar light to turn off automatically. The solar light is designated for outdoor usage and ideal for night lighting of
garden, paths, etc.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE: Please use a damp cloth to clean the solar panel. Do not use any chemical or abrasive
cleaner. It is important to ensure that no moisture enters into the solar light. Replacement parts may be ordered by using the
fixture model number and part's name; call the phone number located at the top and bottom of this instruction manual.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY: This product contains (1) 3.7V 18650 1800mAH Li-ion rechargeable battery. When the battery
expires, it must be recycled or disposed of properly. Please contact your local waste disposal authority for correct procedure.
Do not put battery into fire.
Includes (12) warm white LEDs. The lifetime for LEDs is estimated to be 100,000 hours.

Function Description

The solar spot light operates by converting sunlight into electricity through its built-in solar panel. This electricity is then stored in a rechargeable battery. During the night, the stored energy powers the light, providing illumination. The duration of the lighting depends on the geographical location and prevailing weather conditions; stronger or longer exposure to sunlight allows the battery to store more energy, resulting in extended lighting hours.

Usage Features

The device offers versatile installation options:

• Ground Spike Installation: The light fixture can be easily staked into the ground using the provided spike (Part B). It's crucial to select a location that receives full, direct sunlight for at least 8 hours daily. When inserting the spike into compacted, clay, or hard soils, it's recommended to moisten the ground with water to prevent breakage. Users should never push the fixture into the ground by the fixture head. Once staked, the light can be adjusted to the desired direction.
• Wall Mounting: For wall installation, the light fixture (Part A) can be secured using the two plastic anchors (Part E) and two screws (Part D). As with ground installation, a wall position that receives ample direct sunlight is essential.
• Pole Mounting: The light can also be mounted on a pole. This involves unscrewing the mounting strap (Part C) with a flathead screwdriver, threading it through the holes on the socket under the light fixture, and then tightening it. The light fixture can then be adjusted to the desired direction.

To ensure optimal performance, it is important to avoid placing the solar light near other light sources such as street lights or porch lights, as these can cause the solar light to automatically turn off. Shady areas will prevent the batteries from fully charging, reducing nighttime illumination.

The solar spot light features four optional lighting modes, which can be cycled through by clicking a push button on the back of the light fixture (Part A). These modes include:

• High mode: Provides 600 lumens brightness, lasting approximately 5 hours after a full charge.
• Medium mode: Provides 300 lumens brightness, lasting approximately 6 hours after a full charge.
• Low mode: Provides 100 lumens brightness, lasting approximately 8 hours after a full charge.
• OFF position: This mode is used to give the battery a full charge or when the light is not needed.

A protective film may be present over the solar panel upon purchase; this must be removed before use to ensure proper function.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance helps ensure the longevity and optimal performance of the solar spot light:

• Cleaning: The solar panel should be cleaned periodically with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. It is crucial not to use any chemical or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the panel. Additionally, care must be taken to prevent moisture from entering the solar light.
• Battery Replacement: The device contains a rechargeable Li-ion battery. When the battery expires, it needs to be replaced. To do this, the light fixture (Part A) is pulled out from the spike (Part B). The two screws on the battery compartment cover are then unscrewed, and the cover is removed. The expired battery is taken out, and a new one is inserted, ensuring correct polarity. Finally, the battery compartment cover is repositioned and tightly secured with the two screws. The expired battery must be recycled or disposed of properly, and should never be put into fire.

• Light not coming on at night:
  • Verify that the switch is not in the "OFF" position.
  • Check the rechargeable battery to ensure it is in contact with the metal plate and that the polarity is correct. If the battery is worn out, it should be replaced.
