8 D220 Communication Setup
The D220 supports Wi-Fi for network and internet
access. To communicate with the host, other
devices, and/or download applications, you must
first configure communication settings.
This guide only describes setting up Wi-Fi for the
first time for following options:
• Basic Wi-Fi
• Static IP (SSID Visible)
• Static IP (SSID Not Visible)
• Proxy Server Manual Setup
8.1 D220 Basic Wi-Fi Setup
The only purpose for setting up Wi-Fi out of the box
is to allow the terminal to download its working
application. After this initial setup, the terminal
settings are changed through the application as
configured in BroadPOS.
Configure the terminal Wi-Fi settings as follows.
Power on the terminal and wait for the IDLE
screen to display.
From the IDLE screen press and hold the Cancel
and Enter buttons at the same time for 1 to 3
seconds.
Input the password and press the Enter button.
Use the Right Arrow on the screen, navigate to
and select the Communication option.
Input the password and press the Enter button.
Use the Right Arrow on the screen, navigate to
and select the Wi-Fi Parameters option.
