4 Device Installation and Operation
4.1 Location and Environment
Do not use the D180 in an environment with high heat, dust, or moisture.
Do not use the D180 near water.
Do not expose the D180 to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
Do not place the D180 near heavy objects; impacts to the D180 may cause damage to
the device.
The D180 can be used while placed on a flat surface such as table or countertop in
addition to while being held in hand.
Do not place the D180 near metallic objects or place it on metallic surfaces, this may
interfere in the operation of the contactless antenna.
4.2 Power Button

Switch on: press and hold the Cancel key until the display is on.
Switch off: press and hold the Cancel key until the display goes off.
