2.
1. Using Time History with a 1-second
Period creates one record each second in
the measurement data table.
2. Each record contains the metrics
selected in the Time History Options
section. The NMS044 setup file currently
contains the default metrics shown here.
1.
1. 2. 3.
1. The Event Trigger Method is set to Level.
2. When the measured sound level exceeds the set Trigger Level, an event is triggered and a sound recording
begins. By default, the Trigger Sources are set to SPL 1 and Peak 1. The Trigger Levels for these 2
sources can only be edited from the Exceedance Triggers page (press left arrow icon twice ).
Alternatively, you may select other Triggers Sources from the drop-down menu, and edit the associated
Trigger Levels directly from the Event Triggers page.
3. The recording saves 7 seconds of sound as indicated in the Snapshot Time field. With the checkbox in-
line with Compression selected, the sound file is saved using OGG compression. When this is the case,
any email alert notifications sent as a result of the exceedance include the sound recording as an
attachment.
