Why is my Peak Battery Charger charging the battery so slowly?
If your Peak Battery Charger is charging the battery slowly, it could be because the battery is very cold. The charge rate will increase as the battery warms above 32°F (0°C).
What to do if my Peak PKC0C100 shows no ammeter reading?
If your Peak Battery Charger isn't showing an ammeter reading, ensure it's connected to a working 110/120-volt grounded AC outlet. Check the battery connections to ensure a solid connection with the terminal or vehicle chassis. Verify that you've selected the correct charge rate and battery type for the battery you're charging and that the charge/12-volt engine start switch is in the CHARGE position. Also, make sure sufficient charging time has been allowed and that the battery has at least 2.5 volts. Finally, check to be sure that the battery is not sulfated.
