If you're experiencing a ventilation system leak, there are several potential causes. First, ensure the APL valve is correctly closed during manual mode by turning the valve to the appropriate setting. Check that the absorber canister is correctly installed; if not, reinstall it. Inspect the breathing tube connector for damage or looseness, and refit or renew the breathing tube if necessary. Also, check for a loose non-return valve and reinstall it if needed. For bag/vent switch failure, contact a Penlon-trained engineer.

Why bellows does not inflate completely in my Penlon Prima 465?

If the bellows isn't inflating completely, it could be due to several reasons. The respiratory rate might be set too fast, resulting in a short expiratory time; adjust the respiratory rate to a reasonable value. Another possibility is leaks in the breathing system, so perform a system leak test. Finally, check if the flowmeter is closed and reset it if necessary.
