  Loss of pressure in your Pentair Water Pump can stem from several causes: * A clogged suction strainer, which requires regular cleaning. * A kinked or blocked suction hose, which should be inspected and repaired. * An air leak in the inlet side plumbing; check the hose and connections, and use pipe joint sealant when retightening. * A relief valve setting that is too low or a weakened spring; check the relief valve and correct the setting or replace the spring. * Other potential issues include a faulty gauge (replace it), pump seals leaking air (replace the seals), worn nozzle orifices (replace the nozzles), or a worn pump (repair the pump).

  If your Pentair Water Pump isn't priming, consider these potential causes and solutions: * Check for leaks in the suction line, examining hoses and fittings. * Inspect the suction line for obstructions like debris or a loose inner liner. * Ensure the suction hose isn't stuck to the bottom or side of the tank; cut a notch or “V” in the end of the hose. * Disassemble the pump and inspect the rollers if they seem stuck. * Replace the pump seals if they're leaking air. * Verify the pump is turning in the correct direction and correct it if necessary.
