  Spitting from your Performance Tool Paint Sprayer can occur if there's too little material in the cup; simply refill the cup. It may also happen if the Fluid Nozzle is loose; make sure to tighten it. Damaged Needle Packing can also cause spitting, so replace the packing if necessary. Lastly, a dirty or damaged Needle and Nozzle Set can be the culprit; clean or replace these parts to resolve the issue.
