The Hälsa Bed is an electric adjustable bed with Trendelenburg & reverse Trendelenburg capabilities.
The Hälsa Bed is designed for easy assembly, disassembly, and transport.
Check your shipment to ensure the Hälsa Bed or accessories have not suffered transport damage.
The frame and platform are shipped in 4 pieces secured to a packing skid.
Lie the head and foot supports on the floor and attach the frame assemblies to the supports.
Temporarily move the platform out of the way to access electrical connections and motors.
Connect the 5 cables to the central motor; connections (except battery backup) are color-coded.
Install full or partial side rails after electronic components are connected.
Install bumpers, tidy wires, and prepare to install the mattress.
Visually check the bed, power cable, side rails, brakes, and test functions via hand pendant.
Use the hand pendant to raise or lower each section of the bed for adjustments.
Side rails prevent falls but are not for restraint; ensure they are locked when in use.
Lower bed, keep side rails up when user is unsupervised or sleeping.
Unplug bed if liquid spills; only qualified technicians should service electrical components.
Perform visual checks, verify functions, and test battery backup regularly for reliability.
The Hälsa Bed has a warranty against manufacturing defects and specific guarantees on parts.
