30. Centering the Needle Throw In the Needle Plate Slot
When the machine Is set for Its widest zigzag stitch, the needle should be centered
correctly In the needle plate slot and. descending on the right and left of Its throw,
should clear both ends of the slot at the same distance. If adjustment is required, loosen
pinch screw b (Fig. 36) and turn eccentric stud a in the needle bar frame pitman to
the right or left, as may be required.
