15 Eliminating feed differences (Adjustment not applicable to PFAFF 483)
Requirement
With the machine set for its longest stitch, both the feed dog and and the needle must
make feed strokes of the same length when the handwheel is turned.
● Shift hinge stud 1 (nut 2) to adjust the feed stroke of the needle feed.
● Check whether the needle feed is still zeroed properly (see Section 3) and adjust, if
necessary.
