PART 6: MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Filtration system
The  lter prevents food remains or other foreign items from entering the pump.
Food remains may clog the  lter and in such a case it is necessary to take it out.
The  ltration system consists of a coarse  lter, a plastic  lter and a micro- lter ( ne lter).
1 Plastic  lter
Food remains and soils caught by this  lter are pulverised by a special jet on the bottom spraying arm and
ushed down the drain.
2 Coarse  lter
Larger parts, e.g. bits of bone or glass, which could clog the drain are stopped by the coarse  lter. Remove the
soils caught by this  lter by taking the  lter out - gently press the plug on the top of this  lter and lift it up.
3 Fine  lter
This  lter stops the remains of soils and food in the area of the water tank and prevent the remains from
returning back to the area of the dishwasher during the wash.
Installing the  lter
The  lter e ectively removes food remains from the water used to wash the dishes and so this water can
be used repeatedly during the wash. You will achieve better wash results if you regularly clean out the  lter.
For this reason it is better to remove the food remains from the  lter after every wash by  ushing out the
semi-circular  lter and containers under running water. Take out the  lter by pulling upwards on the container
handle.
WARNING!
 Never use the dishwasher without a  lter.
 An incorrectly seated  lter may lower the e ciency of the dishwasher and cause damage to
dishes.
