products.Weusesomeoftheindustry'smost
advancedmanufacturingprocessesandpractice
stringentqualitycontrol.However,pixelor
subpixeldefectsontheTFTMonitorpanels
usedinflatpanelmonitorsaresometimes
unavoidable.Nomanufacturercanguarantee
thatallpanelswillbefreefrompixeldefects,
butPhilipsguaranteesthatanymonitorwithan
unacceptablenumberofdefectswillberepaired
orreplacedunderwarranty.Thisnoticeexplains
thedifferenttypesofpixeldefectsanddefines
acceptabledefectlevelsforeachtype.Inorder
toqualifyforrepairorreplacementunder
warranty,thenumberofpixeldefectsonaTFT
Monitorpanelmustexceedtheseacceptable
levels.Forexample,nomorethan0.0004%of
thesubpixelsonamonitormaybedefective.
