– Products containing solvent-based adhesives such as (but not exclusively) laminating film,
transparent film or labels sensitive to pressure.
To ensure long lasting legibility and durability of thermal printouts, store your documents separately in
an air-conditioned place and use:
• only plasticizer-free envelopes or divider sheets for protection.
• laminating films and systems with water-based adhesives.
Using such protective envelopes cannot prevent the fading effect caused by other, external agents.
Cleaning the Printhead
To clean the recorder's thermal printhead:
1 Switch off the monitor.
2 Open the paper drawer, and remove the paper if necessary, to gain access to the thermal printhead.
3 Gently clean the thermal printhead with a cotton swab or soft cloth soaked in isopropyl alcohol.
Disposing of the Monitor
WARNING
To avoid contaminating or infecting personnel, the service environment or other equipment, make
sure the equipment has been appropriately disinfected and decontaminated before disposal at the end
of its useful life, in accordance with your country's laws for equipment containing electrical and
electronic parts.
Do not dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment as unsorted municipal
waste. Collect it separately, so that it can be safely and properly reused, treated, recycled, or recovered.
