The
DSC950
is
the
key
component
in
the
Philips
Digital
opeaker
System.
This
system
consists
of
maximum
three
speaker
systems
(Philips
DSS930),
a
digital
pre
amplifier
and
digital
or
analog
audio
components
(CD,
DCC,
TAPE,
TUNER,
etc.)
Digital
Process
In
contrast
with
an
analog
pre-amplifier,
this
system
controller
does
not
adjust
the
volume,
bass
&
treble,
balance
and
compensation
in
the
set,
but
transmits
these
settings
to
the
speakers
which
may
be
located
in
different
rooms.

Inputs/Outputs
The
system
controller
contains
the
hardware
to
connect
analog
sources

DCC)
to
the
system.

Selector
Circuit,

direct
digital
in-
and
output
for
signals
from
digital
sources
like
a
CD
