Programmed
Playback
enables
you

program
up

16
music
tracks
located

fifteenth
position

a
tape
in
any
desired
order,
and
play
them.
1.
Insert
a
recorded
cassette
in
the
cassette
holder
of
Deck
A
or
B
with
the
side
to
be
played
in
the
forward
direction
facing
towards
you.
Then
close
the
cassette
holder.
2.
Select
the
deck
to
be
played
by
pressing
the
‘DECK
A’
or
‘DECK
B’
button
@.
(This
selection
can
be
omitted
if
a
tape
is
inserted
in
only
one
of
the
decks.)

Press
the
‘OMS’
button

desired
number
of
times.
The
QMS
count
display
shows
the
number
of
music
tracks
to

skipped

beginning

the
tape

Recorded

suitable

functions
With
the
QMS
and
Programmed
Playback/Dubbing
functions,
the
music
tracks
are
counted
by
detecting
the
blank
passages
between
them.
Therefore,
if
the
recording
contains
narration,
as
with
an
FM
broadcast,
or
handclapping
or
noise
between
musical
numbers,
the
blank
passages
are
sometimes
not
detected.
On
the
other
hand,
if
sound
is
suspended
or
a
pianissimo
passage
is
present
for
Several
seconds
in
the
middie
of
a
music
track
as
an
some
classical
music
tapes,
these
periods
may
be
detected
as
blank
passages.
To
safeguard
the
operation
of
the
QMS
and
Programmed
Playback/Dubbing
functions
when
recording
an
FM
broadcast
or
a
disc
containing
blank
passages
of
insufficient
length
(the
length
of
each
blank
passage
must
be
4
seconds),
press
the
‘REC
MUTE’
button
G3
at
the
end
of
every
music
track
to
create
blank
passages
of
4
seconds
between
the
music
tracks.
SINGLE
REPEAT
PLAYBACK
Single
Repeat
Playback
allows
repeated
play
of
the
music
track
being
played.
