Functional Overview
Basic function
IMPORTANT!
Before you operate the system, complete
the preparation procedures.
Switching the system on
Press 2 on the system.
Press DISC1/2/3, USB, TUNER or AUX/
MP3 LINK on the remote control.
The system will switch to the selected source.
Switching the system to Standby mode
Press 2 on the system (or 2 on the remote
control ) in the active mode.
The clock time will be displayed. Or "--:--"
will be displayed if clock time is not set.
Power-saving automatic standby
As a power-saving feature, the system will
automatically switch to standby mode if you do
not press any buttons within 15 minutes after a
disc or tape has stopped playing.
Controls on the system
Please refer to page3 (front panel drawing )
1 SEARCH•TUNING 1 / ¡
for DISC/USB ......... to search backward/forward.
for TUNER ............... to tune to a lower or higher
radio frequency.
for CLOCK ...............to set the minutes.
2 7 (STOP)
for DISC/USB ......... to stop playback or to clear a
programme.
for TUNER.................. to delete a preset radio
station.
for DEMO ................ (in Standby mode) to activate/
deactivate demonstration.
for PLUG&PLAY ... (on the system only) to exit
plug&play mode.
3 DISPLAY SCREEN
to view the current status of the system.
4 DISPLAY
to view the time, title or chapter information.
5 MODE
to select REPEAT or SHUFFLE function.
6 2
to switch the system on or to Standby mode.
7 TAPE
to select tape mode.
8 MAX SOUND
to activate or deactivate MAX sound.
9 USB DIRECT
to insert a USB device.
0 MP3 LINK
to insert an MP3 device.
! DISC TRAYS
@ PRESET O / P
for DISC/USB ......... to select previous/next title,
chapter or track during
playback.
for TUNER ............... to select a preset radio
station.
for CLOCK .............. to set the hours.

point the remote control towards this sensor.
$ 38 (PLAY/PAUSE)
for DISC/USB ......... to start or interrupt playback.
for PLUG&PLAY ... (on the system only) to initiate
plug & play mode.
% CLOCK
to view or to set clock.
^ PROG
in DISC/USB mode, to program favorite tracks.
in TUNER mode, press this button to start
manual preset programming.
in TUNER mode, press and hold this button to
start automatic preset programming.
& OPEN/CLOSE
to open or close the disc tray.
* DISC CHANGE
to change the disc.
( DISC1/2/3
to select playing the disc1/2/3.
) SOURCE – to select the following source:
DISC
to select disc.
USB
to select USB.
TUNER
to select waveband: FM and MW.
AUX/MP3 LINK
to select a connected external source AUX or
MP3 LINK (auxiliary).
