FROTHING MILK AND PREPARING A CAPPUCCINO
Frothing milk

Fill 1/3 of a container with cold milk.
Note:
When preparing your cappuccino, use cold (~5°C / 41°F) milk with a protein
content of at least 3% to ensure optimum results. Whole milk, skimmed
milk, soy milk or lactose-free milk may be used depending on individual
taste.
Note:
When you plan to froth milk right after turning on the machine or after
brewing a co ee, any water still in the circuit may need to be dispensed
rst.
To do this, press the “
” button to dispense steam for a few seconds. Then
press the “
” button to stop dispensing and go to step 2.

Before frothing milk, make sure that the machine is ready for use and
that the water tank is lled.
Warning:
Danger of burning! Dispensing may be preceded by small jets of hot
water. When steam is used, the steam wand and the chrome-plated
cover may reach high temperatures. Never touch them with bare
hands. The Automatic Milk Frother must be handled only as described
in the picture.
