The
wire
antenna
consists
of
47m
of
insulated
braid
wound
on
a
bobbin.
The
braid
has
coloured
markers
at
one,
five
and ten
metre
intervals
to
facilitate
measurement
of
the
required
antenna
length;
a
40m
throwing
cord
is
attached
to
the
bobbin.
Two
wire
antennas
can
be
used
as
a
dipole,
in
conjunction
with
a
dipole
centre
junction
and
antenna
feeder
cable.
The
antenna
counterpoise
comprises
four
9m
lengths
of
insulated
wire
attached
to
a
bobbin
on
which
they
are
wound
when
not
in
use.
А
short
lead
joined
to
the
wires
on
the
bobbin
provides
an
external
connection.
