REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL
ALL
1. Turn off master disconnect switch.

REAR
2. Remove bench seat (see Bench Seats).
3. Remove the spat or utility bed. (See Spat or
Utility Bed in Body section).
FRONT
4. Remove the floor access panel.

1 - Battery

1 - Front batteries
2 - Rear batteries

5. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
6. Remove the hold-downs.
7. Disconnect all cables for all front or rear
batteries noting connections and locations
8. Remove each battery.
9. Lift batteries out using proper lifting procedures
or battery lifting tools.
10. Reverse the procedure to install
11. Use ecologically sound procedures to dispose
of batteries.
