Speed Control System
Per ANSI / SVIA-1-2010 (sec. 6.2) AS DELIVERED TO THE CONSUMER, the speed of
youth models is restricted to 10 MPH or less for the 50cc Y-6+ models and 15 MPH or less
for the 90cc Y-10+ models.
The dealer CANNOT, under any circumstances, either prior to the sale or later, even at the
consumer's request, remove or adjust any speed limiting devices.
Your POLARIS ATV has an adjustable throttle limiting screw. Speed limiting devices may
be adjusted/removed only by consumers when they determine that their child is capable of
handling the additional speed.
Per ANSI / SVIA-1-2010 (sec. 6.1) the unrestricted top speed is 15 MPH or less for the 50cc
Y-6+ models and 30 MPH or less for the 90cc Y-10+ models.
