PARKING BRAKE DISC SERVICE
DISC INSPECTION / REMOVAL
1. Measure parking brake disc thickness in multiple
spots using a micrometer. If the thickness of the disc
is less than specified at any point of the pad contact
surface, replace the rear propshaft / disc assembly.
2. Follow prop shaft removal procedure (See Final
Drive Chapter) to remove prop shaft / disc assembly.
