7. Using a wrench on the nut of the bellcrank, turn in
a clockwise direction to assist with removal of
shift assembly and drive gear.
8. Remove shift assembly and gear as an assembly.
NOTE: Direction of shift fork.
9. Inspect shift fork surface for wear or damage.
Replace if necessary.
10. Remove shift fork guide pin.
11. Mark orientation of bellcrank to the shift fork shaft.
12. Remove bellcrank. Use a small puller if
necessary.
