4 MAINTENANCE
Maintenance of the instrument involves preventive treatment, battery
replacement and regular check up of the instrument. Routinely examine the
instrument body, remove any dust, and decontaminate the instrument in situation of
direct contact with radioactivity. Wipe the case with and an ethyl alcohol-saturated
tissue to decontaminate the instrument.
