Remove reaction carrier and roller clutch as-
sembly (Fig. 7E-52).
5. Remove front internal gear ring from output
carrier assembly.
6. Remove sun gear (Fig. 7E-53).
7. Remove reaction carrier to output carrier
thrust washer.
8. Turn carrier assembly over.
9. Remove output shaft to output carrier snap ring
(Fig. 7E-54).
10. Remove output shaft.

NOTE: If replacement of drive speedo gear is
necessary, remove in following manner:
a. Install speedo gear removing tool J 21427
and J 8433 and bolts J 21985 on output shaft and
remove drive speedo gear (Fig. 7E-55).
b. Install new drive speedo gear and drive to
location 11 29/64" below end of output shaft for
models PA, PB, PC, PG and PH and 5 21/32"
below end of output shaft for models PQ, PT, PX
and PY, using J 21028 (cup side up) and J 6133
(Fig. 7E-56).
