PR-DTC-3000 Type
(Carefully read the following before using the unit)
The“PR-DTC-3000 Type”Tension Controller is a semi-automatic tension control device in the voltage controlled
OPEN-LOOP method. This method presets the starting voltage and the potential gradient of the controller
beforehand, and it calculates current voltage by deducting (Unwinding) or adding (Rewinding) the potential
gradient from or to the starting voltage per every revolution of the spindle. (A revolution detecting proximity sensor
is mounted at the spindle).
The calculated result transmits the output voltage in the range of 0~24V to the load device, that is, POWDER
CLUTCH/BRAKE.
( At the ratio setting section, you may set the number of revolutions per increase/decrease of the potential
gradient.)
Check whether there is any defect in the product and it matches with the packing list.
For the optimal performance and safe use of the product, make sure you have completely understood the
followings before use.
In particular, the product should not be employed for any other purpose than its intended use, and should not be
discretionarily remodeled.
Features of the Product
1) The tension can be controlled by simple adjustment and operation

The tension can be controlled by setting only the variable voltage, number of revolution and starting voltage.

A power failure compensation function of remembering the number of revolutions and output value even
when the power goes out.
2) Convenient to use

Having adopted 3.2 inch Full Color TFT LCD, it provides diverse information such as product movements and
setup, and work progress rate.

Value setup by operating a dial.
●
Fabric data (starting voltage, number of revolutions and variable voltage) can be stored up to maximum 10
kinds. (data 0 to 9)
3) Addition of functions
●
Proximity sensors of both PNP and NPN types can be used. (to be selected in SETUP)
●
Weak excitation voltage can be set in accordance with the characteristics of Power Brake and Clutch.
●
Basic parameters can be changed without entering SETUP mode. (start value, changed value and number of
revolutions)
4) Perfect for the following applications

Where no precision tension control is required.

Where the tension detector cannot be attached.

Where manual calibration is not recommended.

Where the system is composed of reasonably-priced components.
