Trusses
1. If you have a building which is 6ft long (or longer) then you will receive a number of trusses.
If you have a 4x8 shed, skip this step.
Each truss will come in four parts:
a. a left triangular section
b. a right triangular section
c. a piece of framing at 1520mm long for the bottom of the truss
d. a triangular support piece for the top
2. Start by screwing the left triangular section and right triangular section together with (2x) 50mm screws:
3. Then add the piece of framing at 1520mm long for the bottom the truss, attaching with 50mm screws as
follows:
4. From the other side, add some 40mm galvanised nails going through the cladding and into this framing to
give some additional strength and support.
5. Finish the truss by adding the triangular support piece for the top and secure using 40mm galvanised
nails.
