3) Press here to release the spring, then you can turn the shaft to adjust the angle of the motor, or take it out of the
water, after you finish adjusting, release it, the motor will stay constant direction.
4) Place the mount on the transom and tighten these two bolts to secure the engine to the deck of the boat.
ENGINE DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
Adjusting the depth of the motor allows you to increase its performance at different water depths.
NOTE: You may need to loosen the steering tension knob before adjusting the motor depth. High
rudder tension will prevent free movement of the motor column up and down.
PROPELLER
The propeller may be exposed to mechanical damage from impacts against the bottom or objects in the water while
the engine is running. Even minor engine damage can affect the smooth running and speed of the boat. The bolt is
mounted with a special pin, which is designed in such a way as to break if it hits a hard object. Replacing the pin is
very simple.
Even slight damage to the propeller can reduce the speed.
If the propeller is bent, nicked or cracked, replace it with a new one recommended by the manufacturer.
Every three months you should remove the bolt and lubricate the drive shaft, preferably with a special waterproof grease
with Teflon, it will increase the engine life.
ROCK ANGLE
After the engine is installed, the bow may drop or rise. The correct trim angle depends on the boat characteristics,
outboard size, sea conditions and load. You should pay attention to the adjustment of the trim angle to the prevailing
conditions. In this type of outboard, the trim angle is manually adjusted by locking the stick in the appropriate
positions.
Install the correctly assembled engine to the stern of the boat and make a good twist.
