MAINTENANCE
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THE OUTBOARD
To keep the engine in optimal operating condition and to maintain its reliability, carry out regular checks and
maintenance. Keep the engine in good condition for your own safety and that of passengers.
Neglecting to inspect, maintain, and repair your engine can result in product damage, serious injury,

the outboard in a dry place where it will not be influenced by temperatures below -29 ° C (-20 ° F). IMPORTANT:
Engines stored at temperatures below 0 ° C (32 ° F) should be run at idle speed for a minimum of 15 minutes before
they exceed 30% operating power.
S. MARKING P UNCTS ABOUT ROTARY
To reduce friction, periodically lubricate the following pivot points:
• Rotary pin
• Latch pin
• Tilt position pin / lever
• Tilt position pin / lever spring
IMPORTANT: Never use aerosol grease to lubricate any part of the machine. Many aerosol
lubricants contain harmful substances that can damage various components of your outboard.
